He teamed up with the Austrian start-up incremental3d, who specialises in the field of 3D concrete printing and has developed a new technology to print very fine and detailed freeform geometries in a very short time. Aduatz’ aim is to show how an innovative product can be developed through the collaboration with engineers and the research in manufacturing technologies and why craft and digital implements can coexist for the purpose of novelty in the 21st century in harmony.

CROZ is an innovative camera collaboratively produced by Hylé Design Macau and PaperShoot Taiwan. CROZ showcases the essence of traditional photography and modern inspiration, significant features cover interactive DIY process, simplification and nostalgia. Users can select preferred models and build their exclusive one. CROZ keeps only two buttons: an on/off/shoot 3-in-1 button and a switch to select between different photo effects. Besides thoughtful craftsmanship, all these features devote to bring users back to the very beginning of camera: intimately observing and recording life moments.

Mercku M2 Hive

Mercku, a Canadian IoT hardware company has a new approach to Wi-Fi technology, with a trans-formative satellite system, which boasts performance, flexibility, and design. The M2 Hive System utilizes one M2 Wi-Fi router and many plug-in nodes, spread around the house. This system hosts up to 80 simultaneous users and allows for industry-leading speed. The flexibility of the nodes also allows for hosts to position them anywhere, to increase power in a specific area. Lastly, the size and exterior design of the nodes will enable them to sit comfortably, and beautifully in the living space.

Enlighten

Enlighten is a smart desk lamp. It is consist of two projectors covering the wall and the desk separately, and a depth camera that trace users’ movements which is for tangible interaction. By turning any surface into a additional display area, users can be free from very limited monitor screen, and they are able to arrange contents around the desk the way they want. Enlighten enables users to handle multiple channels of information at the same time, and it also enhance security when turned off. Of course, it helps users to keep their desk clean and neat.

Mercku M2

Mercku, a Canadian IoT hardware company has a new entrant in the Wi-Fi router space, with promising performance, sleek aesthetics and an entirely new internal design. The M2 Wi-Fi units are available as a standalone, covering up to 3000 square feet of space, and can also be joined together in a mesh network - both with the fastest speed and most extended range in the industry. The exterior design allows the unit to sit comfortably and blend into any home. Lastly, the patented antenna and transceiver is designed in-house by a team with decades of experience, powering the entire system.

bioLogic

The bioLogic team explored how bacterial properties can be applied to fabric and formed into living interfaces between body and environment. They found novel means of using Natto bacteria, which move in response to changes in humidity. The team harvested Natto cells and applied them to fabric with custom 3D printers.The cell-infused fabric was used to make sport garments. As the fabric reacts to perspiration, tiny vents over the body's heat zones open and close, allowing for instant cooling. In fall 2015, the suits featured in a live ballet performance.
